Mumbai, December 18: So far, 18 students of Shetkari (Farmer) Educational Institute’s school in Ghansoli of Thane district adjoining Mumbai have been found corona infected. They are being treated at the Cidco Exhibition Corona Center in Vashi.
As per information, some time ago the father of a student of this school has returned from abroad. Although his corona test was negative but the student’s health deteriorated. The corona test report of the student was found positive. After this, the corona test of all 811 students of this school was done on Thursday and Friday. Of these, the report of 18 has come corona positive.
According to Abhijit Bangar, Commissioner of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation, this school has been sanitized and the school has been ordered to be closed for the next 7 days. Corona investigation of family members is being done by visiting the homes of these students.
