Maharashtra ATS arrests 2 teachers in NEET paper leakgate

Mumbai, June 23: In the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) paper leak case, the Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) has raided two places in Latur district and arrested two teachers of the Zilla Parishad. The ATS team is interrogating both the teachers.

According to the information, the ATS team of Nanded district had received inputs about the involvement of two teachers of Latur in the NEET paper leak case. Both the teachers were identified as Sanjay Tukaram Jadhav and Jalil Umar Khan Pathan. One of them is a teacher in Zilla Parishad schools in Latur and the other in Solapur.

The ATS team raided the houses of both of them late Saturday night and recovered documents from their houses. Both were arrested on Sunday morning and are being interrogated intensively.

It is being told that both the arrested teachers are accused of cheating in the examination for medical admission. In Latur too, a large number of students enroll in private coaching classes to prepare for the NEET exam.

Sanjay Jadhav, a resident of Latur, is a resident of Bothi Tanda and is currently working at Takli Zilla Parishad Primary School in Solapur. Jalil Umar Khan Pathan, a resident of Ambajogai Road area in Latur, is a teacher at the Zilla Parishad School in Katpur. Both were allegedly running private coaching classes in Latur.
