Mumbai, February 17: Maharashtra Cyber โโCell has summoned YouTuber Samay Raina on February 18 to record his statement in the India’s Got Latent barb case. The Cyber โโCell has rejected Samay Raina’s request to record his statement through video conferencing.
According to sources, Samay Raina had requested the Cyber โโCell that he is currently in the US and will not be able to return to India before March 17 due to prior commitments. Therefore, his statement should be recorded through video conferencing, but Maharashtra Cyber โโCell has rejected Raina’s request and asked him to record his statement in person on February 18.
It is worth noting that ‘India’s Got Latent’ was hosted by Samay Raina, in which a controversy has arisen over the comments of the show’s podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia. After massive protests against this show, a case has been registered in the cyber cell against Ranveer Allahbadia, social media influencer Apoorva Makhija, comedian Samay Raina and the organizers of ‘India’s Got Latent’. The cyber police team is investigating this case.
