New Delhi, November 23: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing party workers at the party headquarters on Saturday after the big victory in Maharashtra, reiterated the slogan ‘Ek Hain To Safe Hain’. He called it a great mantra and said that in the Maharashtra elections, the people have voted rising above the politics of caste, religion and region. He said that this mandate of the people of Maharashtra will become the basis of developed India.

The results of elections in two states and by-elections on 48 assembly seats in 15 states have come today. While the Bharatiya Janata Party alliance has won in Maharashtra, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha alliance has got majority in Jharkhand.

Addressing the workers at the party headquarters today after the results came, Prime Minister Modi said that this is the biggest victory of any alliance and party in Maharashtra in the last 50 years. Also, the people of Maharashtra have blessed the BJP for the third consecutive time. Earlier, five states have also given victory to the BJP in assembly elections three times in a row.

The Prime Minister said that these elections have shown that false promises and dangerous agendas will not work. He said that the voters of a state vote not only by looking at the voters of their own state but also of other states. In view of the betrayal of the public in Karnataka, Telangana, Himachal and Punjab, the people of Maharashtra have expressed their trust in the BJP-led alliance. He said that the mandate of Maharashtra has once again proved that the whole country will run by one constitution and no force can bring back Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.

In his speech, Prime Minister Modi attacked the Congress party and especially the party leadership i.e. the Gandhi family. He said that the hunger for power of one family has consumed the entire party. Old Congress leaders say that this is no longer the same Congress party. Its ideas and habits have changed. Internal discontent is growing in the party. On the other hand, the dominance of urban Naxalites is increasing in the Congress and these urban Naxalites are being controlled from abroad. He warned the public about this.

The Prime Minister alleged that the Congress has always torn apart the social justice made in the Constitution. The party has made many laws for appeasement. He said that Wakf Board is a prime example of this. Wakf Board has no place in the Constitution. An institution like Wakf Board has been established for appeasement so that the vote bank of one family can increase. Congress has tried to give death sentence to true secularism.

Calling Congress party a parasite, Prime Minister Modi said that now it has started eating those parties which have given it a place in the alliance. If Congress had got seats in the alliance in Uttar Pradesh, the opposition party would not have got even this many seats.

Prime Minister Modi said that his party is not limited to winning elections by looking at the Bharatiya Janata Party and the alliance National Democratic Alliance (NDA). The objective of their alliance is to make India developed.

The Prime Minister also saluted the people of Jharkhand and said that the party will now work harder for the rapid development of Jharkhand. Every worker of BJP will make his efforts.
