Dehradun, March 28: The Chardham Yatra will begin in Uttarakhand with the opening of the doors of Yamunotri and Gangotri Dham from April 30. Preparations for the Yatra are in full swing at the government level. Meanwhile, the Kedarnath-Badrinath Panda Samaj has decided to completely ban the making of videos and reels in the Kedarnath temple premises.

According to the Panda Samaj, if any person is found making videos or reels in the temple premises, he/ she will be sent back without darshan and entry may also be banned in future. The administration has also been informed in this regard by sending a letter.

Kedarnath Sabha President Rajkumar Tiwari said that last year during the Yatra, the crowd of people making videos and reels had increased. Videos were shot with the noise of drums and trumpets at Kedarnath Dham, located at an altitude of 12,000 feet, just below the glacier, which had a negative impact on the environment of the high Himalayan region and also caused inconvenience to the pilgrims.

He clarified that this time the back door entry to Kedarnath Dham will also be completely closed, so that the sanctity of the temple and the convenience of the devotees can be ensured.
