Agra, 30 August: Hindu organisations are outraged when a Jaipur tourist was denied entry to the Taj Mahal with a Lord Krishna statue. The groups have threatened to stage protests if those who stopped the tourist are not held accountable. The traveller, Gautam, informed reporters at the Taj Mahal that the official claimed security concerns for preventing him from entering with the idol.

“I usually take Laddu Gopal about like a family member. I accompanied the Lord to Mathura and Vrindavan. But here, they urged me not to bring God’s idol,” Gautam explained.

“I also have the video of the incident,” stated Prince Vajpayee, Conservation Assistant (CA) at the Taj Mahal. “But I don’t know if the event occurred on Monday or another day. I will inquire with the CISF about the event.”

“Strong action should be taken against people who have insulted the Lord,” said Govind Parashar, national head of the Rashtriya Hindu Parishad Bharat. ?We will protest if action is not taken,” he added.
