Mankameshwar Temple chief priest to start Gomti cleanliness drive on June 16

Lucknow, 12 June: Mahant of Mankameshwar Temple and Math, Devya Giri said that to make the cleanliness of Gomti River a campaign, the Gomti Gaurav Padyatra will be taken out from Mankameshwar Temple to the lying Hanuman Temple at 6 am on June 16.

She said that the Gomti Gaurav Padyatra will ensure the participation of large number of prominent saints from the Sant Samaj and officials of social service organizations along with mothers, sisters and Gomti devotees. Maa Gomti’s puja aarti will be performed and the issue of cleanliness of the ghats will be raised.

She told that before the padyatra, Rudrabhishek will also be performed in Mankameshwar temple. A large number of people of Lucknow can participate in this. After performing Rudrabhishek, she invited people from every section of Lucknow to participate in Gomti Gaurav Padyatra.
