Lucknow, 14 April: A massive fire broke out due to short circuit in Lokbandhu Hospital located in LDA Colony, Lucknow. The patients admitted in the hospital were evacuated immediately due to the fire, meanwhile the emergency service was completely disrupted. The screams of the patients and their attendants running out of the hospital premises could be heard on the road outside.
On receiving information about the fire in Lok Bandhu Hospital, employees of the Uttar Pradesh fire service along with three fire tenders reached the spot. The hospital employees opened the back door and allowed the fire service employees to enter the hospital.
Due to the fire, the entire hospital premises was filled with smoke. The fire service employees started the work of extinguishing the fire.
