Sambhal, March 25: The organization of Neja fair to be held in the district on Tuesday in the memory of Syed Salar Masud Ghazi has been banned. Tight security arrangements have been made. Additional Superintendent of Police Shrish Chandra inspected the spot.
The ASP said that no event is being organized at the fair place and anywhere nearby. If people are to be believed, this fair is organized in the memory of a robber, invader and murderer.
He said that no one has come to this dargah today. Everyone has understood that one should not participate in any program organized in the memory of an invader. There is complete peace everywhere and force is deployed at every nook and corner.
He said that no one will be allowed to tamper with the security system. Social media is also being monitored and strict action will be taken against anyone who tries to spread rumors.
