Regarding this, meteorologists have issued a warning of rain in 24 districts along with orange alert for many surrounding districts including the capital Lucknow.

Due to lack of rain in Uttar Pradesh for several days during the monsoon season, a drought-like situation had developed in some districts of the state. There is an atmosphere of despair among the farmers regarding the indifference of the weather.

Meteorologists have expressed the possibility of heavy rains in 24 districts including the capital Lucknow. The rains brought relief in Kanpur and surrounding districts and a considerable drop in the temperature has been recorded. This has brought relief from the humid heat and the farmers are also happy about the rains.

Orange alert for these districts

The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for rain in Lucknow, Kanpur Nagar, Amethi, Rae Bareli, Banda, Chitrakoot districts.

Yellow alert issued in these districts

The districts for which Yellow Alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department are Saharanpur, Pratapgarh, Barabanki, Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Fatehpur, Kanpur Dehat, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Lalitpur, Jalaun, Azamgarh, Chandauli, Ghazipur, Jaunpur in the west of UP. , Kaushambi district is included.
