Mirzapur, 27 December: A teacher allegedly beat up an innocent student of class one for standing in line for the second time to take food under the mid-day meal. This incident took place on Friday in the primary school of Patehra Khurd Gram Sabha of the district.
The student Atul Kumar Kol studies in class one. He stood in line for the second time to take mid-day meal. On this, the Shiksha Mitra Rajesh Kumar Patel posted in the school got angry and beat him with a stick, due to which the child got injured.
The victim student’s father Santosh Kol has complained about the incident to the school administration and the concerned authorities. He has demanded strict action against the accused Shiksha Mitra.
After the incident, people of the village expressed their anger. The villagers said that such misbehavior with children will not be tolerated under any circumstances. They have demanded the administration to ensure the safety of the children and take strict action against the guilty teacher.
