Mirzapur, 30 Oct: On Monday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath performed prayers at the Maa Vindhyavasini Temple in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh.
Visuals from the scene showed the Chief Minister examining the temple. Before giving prayers, he was observed meticulously studying the site plan and some images of the area tacked up on a board at the temple grounds.
The Chief Minister went around the temple grounds and the nearby bazaar. He also mingled with the local sellers and cradled a few children who had come to the shrine.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 660 development projects worth Rs 202 crore in Mirzapur district. 10 women of the district who did excellent work were rewarded with ‘Vindhya Shakti Samman’.
On this occasion, Union Minister of State Anupriya Patel and other public representatives were also present.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that just before this program, he got the opportunity to visit Maa Vindhyavasini Dham and see the efforts of the double engine government.
“We all know that no society and country can move forward by ignoring half the population. Prime Minister Modi had given the message in 2014 by coining the slogan of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao. Ujjwala Yojana, Saubhagya Yojana, Jan Dhan Account, Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana and other schemes are going to take half the population towards prosperity. After the formation of the new Parliament, Prime Minister Modi has created history by giving reservation to women.

On this occasion, Union Minister Anupriya Patel said that after assuming the post of Chief Minister in 2017, Yogi Adityanath has extended several welfare schemes for our district Mirzapur.
“The government treasury has been opened for the development of Mirzapur. Chief Minister Yogi has boosted the courage of half the population. Due to his schemes, today women power is doing excellent work in every field. In Uttar Pradesh, 30 percent reservation has been given to women in police recruitment. We would like to thank the Chief Minister for this. India’s economy is getting stronger under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh’s economy is getting stronger under the leadership of Yogi,” she claimed.
