Lucknow, 07 July: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed the officials of the concerned districts to conduct relief work promptly in view of heavy rains.
He said that the officials should visit the area and keep an eye on the relief work and provide immediate help to the affected people.
He has also given instructions to provide the permissible relief amount to the families affected by the loss of life due to the disaster without any delay.
He said that those whose houses were damaged or animals were lost, such affected people should be given the permissible financial assistance immediately.
The Chief Minister has also given instructions that the damage to the crops should be assessed and a report should be made available to the government. So that further action can be taken in this regard.
It is noteworthy that heavy rain is occurring in 20 districts including the capital of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, Kanpur, Unnao, Jhansi, Gonda, Balrampur, Bahraich. It has been raining in most districts since Saturday. The Chief Minister has given strict instructions to the officials of the districts where the situation is worsening.
