Bhopal, 1 July; The Indian Justice Code (BNS), Indian Civil Security Code (BNSS) and Indian Evidence Act (BSA) have been implemented across the country from July 1.
ADG Law and Order Jaideep Prasad informed in a press conference held at Police Headquarters Bhopal on Monday that Madhya Pradesh is among the leading states in the country in the implementation of new laws. Madhya Pradesh Police is ensuring effective implementation of new laws in all the districts of the state. This is the reason that on the very first day, the complaints of the complainants were heard and FIRs were registered on the basis of the new laws.
Madhya Pradesh’s first FIR was registered at Hanumanganj police station in Bhopal at 12:16 pm. The second FIR of the state was registered at Nishatpura police station in Bhopal at 12.20 am, while the third FIR was also registered at Shahjahanabad police station in Bhopal at 12.22 am. A total of 10 FIRs were registered across the state till 1.36 am. Eight of these were in Bhopal. One FIR was registered at Hajira police station in Gwalior at 12.24 am and another at Sagar at 1.36 am.
On abusive language and assault
The first FIR of the state was registered at Hanumanganj police station. In this FIR, the complainant Prafulla son of Jayanarayan Chauhan told the police that Raja alias Harbhajan abused him over an old matter. Bhairav ​​son of Puranlal Sahu lodged a complaint at Nishatpura police station at 12.20 am. In the complaint, the complainant said that I was standing near the CIA gate at night. Then Manish Shilpkar reached there and started asking me for money to drink alcohol. When I did not give him money, Manish abused me and slapped me. The police have registered an FIR in this case. The third FIR of the state was registered in Shahjahanabad police station. Actually, the accused Gautam and Ganesh were fighting and creating a ruckus near the Bada Bagh graveyard mosque at night. The police registered an FIR against them.
New laws were welcomed in unique ways
Programs were organized in all the police stations of the state regarding the new laws. In this, honorable judges, police officers, advocates, public representatives in various police stations made the citizens aware about the new law. All the police stations were decorated. Rangoli was decorated. The premises were decorated with flowers and balloons. Citizens were welcomed in the police station with band music. Sweets were distributed to the citizens. Awareness related hoardings, banners, posters were put up regarding the new laws. People were also informed about the new laws through short films. Awareness related posts were also made on the authorized handles of social media.
“Dialogue between police and public” took place in the country’s first ISO certified women’s police station
A large number of women attended the “Police and Public Dialogue” program regarding the new laws at the country’s first ISO certified women police station in Bhopal. Here the speakers said that the rights of women and children have increased in the new laws. Now, there will be quick investigation and hearing in case of crime against women and children. Videography has now been made compulsory in women related cases. He said that it is now mandatory for the doctor to give medical report within the time limit. The women present in the program also expressed their problems and queries, which were resolved by the guests present.
Madhya Pradesh Police is ready to implement justice-centric law.
Madhya Pradesh Police was continuously trying for the last six months to implement justice-centric law and not punishment. From constable to top officials, everyone was trained for the implementation of the new laws. More than 60 thousand officers and employees were trained about the three laws by 302 master trainers. These include more than 31 thousand investigation officers. Especially the importance of technology has been increased in the new laws. From this point of view, the employees operating CCTNS in all the police stations of the state have been trained.
