Noida, 30 June: A Chhaprauli resident has been detained by the Uttar Pradesh Police here for liking and admiring the Udaipur beheading video on social media on Thursday.
On the viral footage of Kanhaiya Lal’s beheading, the accused made an offensive statement. A case has been filed against Yusuf Khan, a resident of Sector 168, liked the video and added, “Very nicely done, my brother.”
A villager filed a complaint. A cell phone used for commenting on the video was also found by the police.
According to Noida Zone ADCP Ranvijay Singh, the people of the Baghpat district’s village Chhaprauli filed a formal complaint against the accused.
