Prayagraj, 25 August: The Prayagraj Police arrested a woman for promoting religious hatred through YouTube channel. Meanwhile, taking legal action against her, a case under IT Act has been filed.
Giving the above information, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Prayagraj Abhishek Dixit said that the arrested Sana alias Heera Khan used to run her own YouTube channel. She made objectionable comments against Hindu gods and goddesses which went viral on various platforms of social media. As soon as the matter was come to light, a case under IT Act was filed against her at Khuldabad police station. However, she escaped from the house after the case was filed.
βA team of Crime Branch and Khuldabad police station were looking for the woman but the Police arrested her on Tuesday. A case under IT Act has been registered against her and she will be produced before the court,” SSP told.
