Varanasi, May 06: On Friday, near the gate number four of Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple, a Muslim woman sitting in the posture of offering Namaz turned out to be mentally sick.
Meanwhile, a slip of Mandalya Shivprasad Gupta Hospital along with a medical report and a picture of Hindu deities have also been found from her possession.
Thana Chowk Commissionerate told that at one o’clock in the afternoon, in front of Gate No. 4 of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple, when the Muslim men were going to offer Namaz in Gyanvapi Masjid. During this, a woman took out her bag and shoes on the road track and sat in a position like offering Namaz. After about 10 minutes when she came back to normalcy, her statement was taken under the supervision of the female sub-inspector and female constable present.
According to Thana police station, on search, mental hospital Varanasi, SSPG Kabirchaura, Government Women’s Hospital Varanasi’s medical report, hospital slip, photographs of Hindu deities, medicines, voter ID card and caste certificate were found from her bag.
Varanasi Police said, woman name is Ayesha Wife Mohd Hanif, resident of Jaitpura. During investigation and interrogation, it was found that Ayesha’s treatment is going on under the supervision of Dr Ajay Kumar Singh, a psychiatric specialist.
The woman told that my husband has 07 children from his first wife. Husband has thrown me out of the house. I am mentally disturbed; Farid Baba Mazar which is in Punjab gave a dream in the night so I came here to offer Namaz. After interrogation, the woman was sent to SAPG Hospital under the supervision of the female constable for treatment.
