Social media sensation Urfi Javed is always in the news for her strange clothes. Many of her pictures and videos are going viral on social media. On Friday, a video of her went viral on social media, in which two female police officers are seen catching her and taking her in a jeep.

After the video went viral, it was claimed that Urfi has been arrested by Mumbai Police for spreading obscenity by wearing strange clothes. However, it has been revealed that the video is fake.

Mumbai Police itself has taken cognizance of this matter and has confirmed the report that this video is fake. It has come to light that Urfi has made this video just to get fame. Now an FIR has been registered against this fake video of her.

Mumbai Police has registered a case against Urfi Javed and the women seen in the video under various sections.

Mumbai Police tweeted, ‘No one can violate the law of the country for cheap publicity! The viral video of the woman arrested by Mumbai Police on obscenity charges is not true. Police badges and uniforms have been misused in this.

Police said, a criminal case under sections 171, 419, 500, 34 IPC has been registered at Oshiwara Police Station against the people involved in the misleading video. Further investigation is underway and the fake police officers seen in the video have been arrested. The vehicle has also been seized.
