Narendra Modi to be first PM to visit Ulihatu- birthplace of ‘Bhagwan’ Birsa Munda

New Delhi, November 14: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a two-day visit to Jharkhand starting today (Tuesday). Today, the Prime Minister will reach Ranchi. He will visit the Lord Birsa Munda Memorial Park and Freedom Fighters Museum in Ranchi on November 15 at around 9:30 a.m.

After this, he will reach Ulihatu village, the birthplace of Lord Birsa Munda. He will offer floral tributes to the statue of Lord Birsa Munda in Ulihatu. This information is given in the official release.

It says that Narendra Modi will be the first Prime Minister to visit Ulihatu village, the birthplace of Lord Birsa Munda. The Prime Minister will participate in a programme to commemorate the 3rd Tribal Pride y (202023 in Khunti at around 11:30 a.m. During the programme, the Prime Minister will launch the ‘Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ and the ‘Prime Minister’s Specially Vulnerable Tribal Groups Mission’.

He will also release the 15th installment of the Prime Minister-Kisan Scheme. Apart from this, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for many development projects in Jharkhand.

It has been the Prime Minister’s constant endeavour to ensure that the major schemes of the government are fully communicated to the people and that the benefits of these schemes reach all the targeted beneficiaries in a timely manner. Taking a big step to achieve this goal of saturation of schemes, the Prime Minister will launch the ‘Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ on the occasion of Tribal Pride Day.

The Yatra aims to reach out to people, create awareness, and provide benefits from welfare schemes like sanitation facilities, essential financial services, electricity connections, access to LPG cylinders, housing for the poor, food security, proper nutrition, reliable healthcare, clean drinking water, etc. The nomination of potential beneficiaries will be done using the details obtained during this visit.

On the occasion of the launch of ‘Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra’, the Prime Minister will flag off the IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) van in Khunti, Jharkhand. This yatra will start in districts with a significant tribal population and will cover all the districts of the country by January 25 next year.

During the event, the Prime Minister will also launch a unique initiative, the ‘Pradhan Mantri Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (Pradhan Mantri PVTG) Mission’. 75 PVTGs live in 22,544 villages (220 districts) in 18 states and union territories. Their population is about 28 lakh. These tribes live in scattered, remote, inaccessible settlements, often in forest areas.

Therefore, the Mission, with a budget of approximately Rs 24,000 crore, will provide PVTG families and their habitations with basic amenities such as road and telecom connectivity, electricity, safe housing, clean drinking water, sanitation, education, improved access to health and nutrition, and sustainable livelihood opportunities. It has been planned to do so.

Apart from this, separate saturation will be ensured for PMJAY, sickle cell disease eradication, TB eradication, 100% vaccination, Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Poshan, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, etc.

In yet another example of the Prime Minister’s commitment towards the welfare of farmers, the 15th installment of Rs 18,000 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) has been distributed to more than 8 crore beneficiaries through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Will be issued. Under this scheme, till now, Rs 2.62 lakh crore has been transferred to the accounts of farmers in 14 installments.

Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for projects worth about Rs 7200 crore in several sectors like rail, roads, education, coal, petroleum, and natural gas.

The projects for which the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone include the four-laning of a 52-kilometre-long Mahagama-Hansdiha section of NH 133, the four-laning of a 45-kilometer-long Basukinath-Deoghar section of NH 114A, and the KDH-Purnadih coal handling plant. This includes laying the foundation stone of the new academic and administrative building of IIIT Ranchi.

The projects that will be inaugurated and dedicated to the nation include the new campus of IIM Ranchi, the new hostel of IIT ISM Dhanbad, the Petroleum Oil and Lubricant (POL) Depot at Bokaro, the Hatia-Pakra section, the Talgaria-Bokaro section, and the Jarangdih-Patratu section. Doubling up is involved.

Apart from this, the Prime Minister will also dedicate to the nation the achievement of 100 percent railway electrification in Jharkhand.
