Naxal couple with a reward of Rs 10 lakh surrenders in Chhattisgarh

Narayanpur, 24 February: As a result of pumping pressure due to the establishment of security camps in the interior areas under the surrender policy of Chhattisgarh and “Maad Bachao Abhiyan” being run in the district, Naxal couple Suden Korram alias Janku Korram and Sarita Potavi alias Karishma, carrying a reward of Rs 5 lakh each from Bhairamdev Area Committee, MMC Zone in Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh, surrendered today on Monday.

On this occasion, Harinder Pal Singh Sohi, Deputy Inspector General, BSF Regional Headquarters, Raipur and Naval Singh, Commandant, 135 Battalion BSF and police were present. The surrendered Naxal couple was given an incentive amount of Rs 25 thousand. They will also be provided all the facilities available under the Naxal eradication policy of Chhattisgarh.

It is noteworthy that Chhattisgarh’s surrender policy and the “Maad Bachao Abhiyan” being run in Narayanpur district area and camps being set up continuously in the interior areas of Abujhmad. The lives of the tribals are improving, due to which the pressure on the Naxalite organization is increasing.
