New Delhi, 26 July: National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) Vice Presidential candidate Jagdeep Dhankhar, Senior Advocate withdrew from the chamber allotment list in the Supreme Court.
Recently, the Supreme Court had released the long pending chamber allotment list. In this, Dhankhar’s name was at number 77.
Dhankhar wrote a letter to the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) expressing his desire to withdraw from the allotment of the chamber and said that it would be convenient for other needy lawyer to get the chamber.
Based on the letter written to the SCBA, association’s president Vikas Singh wrote to the Supreme Court registrar urging him to withdraw Dhankhar’s nomination from the chamber allotment and allot the chamber to another lawyer.
