Kolkata, April 12: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested two accused in connection with Bengaluru’s Rameshwaram Cafe blast from near Kolkata.
They have been identified as Abdul Mathin and Musavir Hussain Sajib. They are also accused of being associated with the notorious terrorist organization ISIS. The NIA on Friday said that both the accused Abdul Mathin and Musavir Hussain Sajib are from Karnataka.
Officials said that both have been active members of ISIS and were hiding near Kolkata to dodge the security agencies.
Out of these, Musavir Hussain Sajib was involved in transplanting the ID in the Bengaluru blast case and Abdul Mathin planned the entire blast. After carrying out the crime, both fled to West Bengal. They are being interrogated.
