No permission to install loudspeakers at new religious places: CM Yogi

LUCKNOW, April 2: Installation of loudspeakers will not be allowed at new religious places in Uttar Pradesh, the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given clear instructions to the officials of the government in this regard.

He has said that it should also be ensured that the sound of the places where the loudspeakers are installed with permission does not go out of the premises. Mikes installed at religious places will be removed without permission.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while meeting with the high officials of the government on Thursday, said that everyone of his religious ideology has the freedom to follow his method of worship. Loudspeakers may be used where they are installed with prior permission, but it should be ensured that the sound of the loudspeakers does not come out of the premises. Other people should not be inconvenienced. Do not allow new loudspeakers to be installed at new sites.

No procession, religious procession should be taken out without due permission. Before giving permission, an affidavit should be taken from the organizer regarding maintaining peace and harmony. Weapons of any kind should not be displayed. If the environment deteriorates, accountability will be fixed at every level.
