New Delhi, 16 June: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has categorically rejected the allegations of the Congress regarding the country-made vaccine for the prevention of corona, saying that the serum of cow or calf is not mixed in any way in the vaccine.

BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said that the Congress has spread confusion regarding the vaccine and by doing so it has committed a great sin.

In the press conference held on Wednesday at the BJP headquarters, Sambit Patra targeted the Congress and said that today the Congress has committed a great sin, because of the kind of confusion that the opposition party has done today through social media and press conference today regarding the Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin made in India by its spokesperson Pawan Kheda, that is a great sin.

Patra further said that in the press conference, Pawan Kheda and Congress’s National Convenor of Social Media Gaurav Pandhi have objected that the vaccine contains the serum of a cow’s calf. It was even said on social media that this vaccine has been prepared by killing cow and calf, which is completely wrong and baseless.

Terming the allegations of the Congress as propaganda, the BJP leader said that the Health Ministry and scientists have clearly said that any kind of cow or calf serum is not mixed in the vaccine. This vaccine is completely safe and does not have any side effects.

Patra said that all the Congress leaders have been working to spread confusion regarding the vaccine. He accused the opposition party of ruining the vaccine and creating doubts.
