Noida schools to be closed on Sept 22 due to MotoGP

Noida, 19 Sept: Schools in Uttar Pradesh’s Gautam Budh Nagar district will close at 2 p.m. on September 21 and will be closed on September 22.

The schools will be shuttered ahead of the UP International Trade Show and Moto GP events, which are set to take place in the city on the dates listed above. According to a notification published by the District Education Department, schools in the district will be closed after 2 p.m. on September 21.

On September 22, there will be a total school holiday. This directive will be implemented in all schools from Kindergarten to Grade 12.

The official notification, which includes temporary closures and student vacations, is intended to reduce inconveniences during these events.

UP INTERNATIONAL TRADE SHOW: “These events are expected to draw a large number of visitors and spectators. The orders have been passed in compliance with the instructions given by District Magistrate Manish Verma in order to ensure that there is no inconvenience to the students and their parents in view of the possibility of the crowd and in view of the law, security arrangements, and traffic arrangements,” Dharmveer Singh, the district inspector of schools, said.

SECURITY MEASURES: Gatherings of a large number of people are forbidden under CrPC section 144, and the use of private drones is restricted in the Noida zone throughout the event duration. Furthermore, officials have ordered significant traffic diversions to relieve congestion on critical highways in Noida and Greater Noida.

This school closure order is valid throughout the Gautam Nagar Buddha district, which includes Noida, Greater Noida, and Dadri. With over one lakh people scheduled to attend these activities on a daily basis, these steps are critical to maintaining order and safety.
