Chandigarh, 24 August: The police are continuously taking action to arrest the accused of Nuh violence. On Wednesday night, the police arrested another accused, Osama, after the encounter. This is the third encounter to nab the accused of violence. The accused was admitted to Nalhar Hospital in an injured condition.
In fact, so far, 61 FIRs have been registered in the Nuh violence case, and 292 people have been arrested.
According to Nuh police, Inspector Vimal of Cyber Crime Station Nuh had received information that the accused of Nalhad arson was going from village Ferozepur Namak to Aali Meo by bike. As soon as the information was received, the police laid siege to the accused. Sensing danger, the accused opened fire on the police. In retaliatory firing, the accused, Osama alias Pehalwan, a resident of Firozpur Namak (Nuh), was shot in the leg, after which the police arrested him.
According to the police, the accused, Osama, has been admitted to Nalhar Medical Hospital for treatment. An illegal desi katta, an empty round, and a bike have also been recovered from it. Police said that the accused was arrested after an encounter near the Ujina canal drain.
