Lucknow, 25 Jan: Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, directed authorities on Wednesday to ensure that the state’s power supply remains uninterrupted on Republic Day.
According to an official statement, the department is working to ensure a 24-hour uninterrupted power supply in all cities in compliance with the chief minister’s directions.
The Uttar Pradesh government is dedicated to providing 24-hour energy to the state, according to Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited Chairman M Devraj. He stated that necessary orders have been sent to managing directors of power distribution firms to ensure continuous power delivery to all locations. Devraj stated that officers and people involved in distribution at the local level have been instructed to take extreme caution.
Local difficulties should be addressed as soon as possible, and the availability of labour and supplies required for this should be assured, he stressed. According to Devraj, power is now given for 24 hours in metropolitan towns, district headquarters, and the Taj Trapezium area, 18 hours in rural areas, and 21.5 hours in tehsils, headquarters, and nagar panchayats. According to him, there is enough electricity in the state to meet demand.
