Operation ‘Ajay’, plane carrying 235 Indians from Israel reaches Delhi

New Delhi, 14 October: Under the Central Government’s Operation Ajay, the second flight carrying 235 Indian citizens from tension-hit Israel reached New Delhi this morning.

Minister of State for External Affairs Rajkumar Ranjan Singh received everyone at the airport. The situation is becoming increasingly serious after Hamas’ attack on Israel. The fight between the two is going on since the 7th of this month.

India has started Operation Ajay for the safe return of its people stranded in Israel to their homeland. In the first phase of this operation, the first group of passengers reached India on Friday morning.

At 11:02 pm on Friday night, the plane carrying the second group of Indians took off from Israel’s capital Tel Aviv. There are also two infants in this group of 235 people. This plane reached New Delhi this morning.

Suryakant Tiwari, an Indian student doing PhD from Ilan University in Safed, Israel, says that there is an atmosphere of fear in Israel. The situation is very bad. He is happy to come back to his country. Thanks to the Government of India for this.
