Expressing protest against this, there was sharp sloganeering and uproar in the house. As a result, the proceedings of both the houses were adjourned till 2 pm.

Earlier, the Constitution was discussed in both the houses for two days. Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Lok Sabha and Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Rajya Sabha responded to various issues during the discussion on the glorious journey of 75 years of the Indian Constitution.

The opposition created a ruckus in the Lok Sabha today on the issue of Ambedkar, due to which the proceedings were adjourned till 2 pm as soon as they started.

This ruckus took place on Tuesday in Rajya Sabha over a statement by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Congress objected to Shah’s statement and called it an insult to Ambedkar. There was sloganeering on the same issue in the Rajya Sabha as well, after which the proceedings of the Rajya Sabha were also adjourned till 2 pm.

During the debate on the Constitution in the Rajya Sabha, Congress MP Pramod Tiwari strongly objected to the speech of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

He said that Amit Shah’s statement about the Constitution maker Baba Saheb Ambedkar is insulting and unforgivable. Congress will not tolerate the insult of Dr. Ambedkar.

After this statement of Pramod Tiwari, there was a huge uproar in the Rajya Sabha. As a result, Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar adjourned the proceedings of the House till 2 pm.
