Moradabad, 04 September: On Sunday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, under his Moradabad district tour program, said in the program ‘Samvad with the entrepreneurs of Moradabad division’ organized at the Mudhapande airport that the entrepreneurs have a positive thinking with the provisions of Single Window Platform and Ease of Doing Business. By taking maximum advantage of the various facilities provided by the government, give a new impetus to the industries and play an important role in strengthening the economy of the state.

He said that for the establishment of industries, various types of NOCs are being provided by the government easily.

While emphasizing on investment promotion and export promotion for rapid and balanced industrial development of the state and Moradabad division, the Chief Minister said that the ‘One District One Product’ (ODOP) scheme has given a unique identity to all the districts and the process of its expansion will be implemented in the government. is progressive. To strengthen the economy of the state, he stressed on promoting investment and exports in various sectors like agriculture, industry, infrastructure, and said that since the beginning of the ODOP program, there has been an increase of 80 percent in the exports of the state.

He said that already 20 thousand acres of industrial land bank is available in the state under creation of land bank for industries. The Chief Minister exhorted the entrepreneurs of Moradabad division to take maximum advantage of the security environment established in the state and provide dynamism to their industries and also play an important role in furthering the possibilities of tourism development in the districts.

At Mundhapande Airport, the entrepreneurs of Moradabad district informed the Chief Minister about their expectations and suggestions that the units established in the R-2 area in the district do not get the NOC of the Pollution Control Board. Therefore, for suggestions, instead of pollution free, this area should be considered as pollution control area. The area of ​​industrial units established in the area of ​​Lakri Fazalpur from RTO office should be considered as an industrial area. More than 2000 exporter units are working in Moradabad district, for setting up industrial units, industrial establishments in the district are established only in Harthala and SEZ Dingarpur Pakbda Road, Moradabad.

District Sambhal emerging export hub:

Entrepreneurs of district Sambhal apprised the Chief Minister that district Sambhal is an emerging export hub. The main occupation of the district is agricultural production. The ODOP products of district Sambhal are horn borne handicraft products, which are popular in the country and abroad, whose export is more than Rs.300 crores. The main export products of the district include products made from mentha, handicraft products of horn borne and bobbin meat. In the year 2021-22, the total export of Sambhal district was Rs 1671 crore and the total production was about Rs 2100 crore. The main importing countries are Saudi Arabia, UAE, Netherlands, UK, Kuwait, Oman, USA, Qatar, and China.

Entrepreneurs continue to face problems of electricity in Bijnor:

Entrepreneurs of district Bijnor apprised that the problem of electricity persists to the entrepreneurs in the industrial place of Bijnor, for which there is a need for an independent power feeder. Land is being demanded by the entrepreneurs in the district, for which there is a need to build a new big industrial place. Wood art was selected under one district one product scheme, whereas jaggery is produced in large quantity in the district, so there is a need to include jaggery as co-production under one district one product scheme by the entrepreneur. In the Nagina area, the work of wood art is done in small streets. There is a need to establish Shilpgram for handicraftsmen.

Dholak and readymade garment included under ODOP scheme in Amroha:

Entrepreneurs of Amroha district informed that under ODOP scheme, dholak and readymade garments have been included, more than 3000 people are employed in more than 150 units of musical instruments. Till now its products were sold in various regions of India, but with the cooperation of the present government, it was exported to Europe, America, China and South East Asia through Flipkart and Amazon. In the field of metal and wooden handicrafts in Amroha district, more than 1000 crores are exported annually. More than 10 thousand people have got employment, if this area is also included in one district one product, then this area will increase further, due to which economic activities will increase further.
