Ayodhya, 25 December: Lakhs of devotees and pilgrims have arrived Ayodhya Dham to pay obeisance at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple on Wednesday.
The temple premises and the surrounding areas echoed with chanting of mantras and ‘Jai Shree Ram’ slogan throughout the day. The Devotee Facilitation Centre (DFC) with a capacity of more than a thousand remained full till late evening. It is worth mentioning that more devotees were coming than leaving from the DFC on Wednesday.
Apart from this, there was a rush of devotees in Hanuman Garhi, Dashrath Mahal, Kanak Bhawan and other temples located in an area of ββββa kilometer.
According to the management authority of the temple, the number of devotees was normal till before noon, but due to good weather, the number of devotees jumped rapidly after noon. All the lines for darshan were packed.
Due to the holiday on weekends and offering prayer at the Hanuman Garhi temple on Tuesday, the number of devotees is usually high, but today is something different. Today more than one lakh devotees visited Ram temple, told one from management authority.
