Ghaziabad, 21 October: Over ten thousand passengers traveled in Namo Bharat train on the first day.

NCRTC Managing Director Vinay Kumar Singh along with other senior NCRTC officials warmly welcomed the group of passengers in the morning.

After welcoming the passengers with flowers, he interacted with them to know and understand their travel experiences. The first group of passengers was also awarded the First Rider Certificate.

Earlier, amidst the excitement and enthusiasm of the passengers, commercial operations in the much awaited primary section of Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor started from Saturday.

The maiden journey of Namo Bharat train, which started at 6 am today, received an overwhelming response from the passengers.

To be a part of this historic journey, excited passengers not only from nearby areas like Muradnagar but also from far-flung areas of Delhi and Uttar Pradesh reached the RRTS station at 5:30 in the morning.

The first group of passengers of Namo Bharat train included passengers from all sections including women, senior citizens and children whose excitement was worth seeing. RRTS stations amazed the passengers with their grandeur and state-of-the-art facilities.

Many people were not only excited to board these modern trains but also had a lot of curiosity about the various features of Namo Bharat trains and RRTS stations as well as how to use Ticket Vending Machine (TVM), QR Code ticketing etc. Was.

But the enthusiasm of the passengers did not stop here. The passengers were not satisfied with simply enjoying their ride; He also captured the historic journey through photographs and videos.

Some passengers also danced in the aisle expressing their joy and excitement of being the first passengers of India’s first NaMo Bharat train.

Everyone was very excited and happy to be a part of this historic moment, family and friends gathered, clicked pictures, took selfies and made videos.

Some office goers could also be seen in this crowd of commuters, displaying a seamless blend of work and leisure. Children had a lot of fun in the station and platform areas as the platform screen doors and other safety features work together to ensure a safe journey for them.
