New Delhi, August 3: The country achieved the target of 14 crore ‘e-Sanjeevani tele-consultations’ on Thursday, providing expert doctor’s advice to the citizens sitting at their homes.
Union Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya tweeted that eSanjeevani is proving to be ‘Sanjeevani’ for the citizens. Through ‘e-Sanjeevani tele-consultation’, more than 14 crore specialist doctors have been consulted in remote areas. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government is working for the person standing in the last row.
It is noteworthy that patients can contact the doctor online through e-Sanjeevani OPD. Every citizen of the country can take advantage of e-Sanjeevani OPD.
Here, patients are given doctor tele-consultations free of charge. Several crore people have taken advantage of e-Sanjeevani, an online telemedicine service launched by the central government in 2019.
