Over 200 ‘Munnabhai’ nabbed by UP STF in UP constable recruitment exam

Lucknow, 18 February: The Uttar Pradesh Police constable recruitment exam ended on Sunday with strict monitoring. In view of the strict instructions of the Yogi government, the police department used its full strength to conduct the examination safely.

Due to the activeness of UP-STF and Crime Branch teams, the members of the counterfeit mafia, solver gang and fraudsters could not get along and were caught by the police. A total of 204 Munnabhai were arrested from different districts of the state, including teachers and police personnel.

It is noteworthy that a total of 2385 examination centers were made in 75 districts for the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Examination. In order to conduct cheating-free examinations, the teams of UP STF and Crime Branch have been actively working in civil dress to foil the wrongdoings of cheating mafias.

On the second and last day of the examination, 82 people were arrested in the first shift and 36 people were arrested in the second shift. Whereas on Sunday, 96 fraudsters and solver gang members were caught. A government teacher Santrant Yadav was caught in Kanpur, Prayagraj, Ballia. Five people including two police personnel were caught in Firozabad. Three people including a teacher were caught in Badanyu. In this way, a total of 204 Munnabhai were caught during the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Examination.

Uttar Pradesh Police constable’s examination was completed safely on Sunday. The candidates who missed the examination turned straight towards the bus and railway stations and the situation remained the same in all the districts of the state. During this period, roadways officials of all the districts remained active and engaged in dispatching buses. The trains were jam-packed with people.
