Lucknow, July 31: Uttar Pradesh Additional Chief Secretary Medical and Health Amit Mohan Prasad said that on Saturday, a total of 79 thousand 128 samples were tested in a day in the state. 505 new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported across the state.
He further told, a total of 11 crore 96 lakh 19 thousand 434 samples have been tested so far in the state. In the last 24 hours, 452 people and till now a total of 20 lakh 75 thousand 953 people have been cured of Covid-19. There are a total of 3101 active cases of corona in the state.
ACS Health Prasad informed that the work of Covid immunization is being done continuously. Four lakh 16 thousand 691 doses of vaccine have been given in the state on July 30. Total first dose 15 crore 36 lakh five thousand 390 and second dose 14 crore 57 lakh 47 thousand 920 were given to people above 18 years.
He said that one crore 41 lakh four thousand 651 first dose and one crore 28 lakh 92 thousand 534 second dose have been given to the age group of 15 to 17 years. A total of 84 lakh 95 thousand 637 first doses and 71 lakh 51 thousand 226 second doses were given to the age group of 12 to 14 years. So far 70 lakh 47 thousand 726 precaution doses have been given in the state.
He said that in total, 34 crore 90 lakh 45 thousand 084 doses of vaccine have been given so far in the state.
