The Chief Minister, who reached the program, gave appointment letters to more than 2,500 youths, distributed tablets and loans worth Rs 211 crore to 5,100 students

Ambedkar Nagar, August 17: Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath underlined 5 dates of August month and added that they are going to be very important in Uttar Pradesh. The police recruitment process will be completed in the state on 23, 24, 25, 30 and 31 August and this is happening for the first time when police recruitment examination is being organized on such a large scale in the state. Youth of every district of the state will get an opportunity to participate in this completely transparent appointment process.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said these things on Saturday at a district level mega employment and loan fair organized at Dev Indravati Mahavidyalaya located in Ambedkar Nagar Katehari.

On this occasion, he emphasized that 20 percent of the police recruitment in the state will also be given to daughters. They will come out on the streets of the state and deal with the miscreants properly. Warning the criminals, mafia and anarchist elements, he said that no one will be allowed to play with the future of the youth. The time is gone, when the uncle-nephew gang used to go out to extort money in the state. Now whoever does this, their property will be confiscated and distributed among the needy. No dishonest person, criminal and elements promoting anarchy will be spared in the state. In the program, a total of 2,500 youths were given certificates, 5,100 students were given tablets and loans worth Rs 211 crore were distributed.

Youth getting employment opportunities in the district itself

CM Yogi said that it is my good fortune that in the month of Shravan, I have got the opportunity to communicate with the youth at this holy place of Shravan. I bow down to this holy land and greet all the citizens including the farmers who provide food here.

He said that he saw the stalls set up by 46 companies in the employment fair, saw the working of women volunteers and saw the efforts of entrepreneurs. It is satisfying to see that Ambedkarnagar, once notorious for criminal and anarchic elements including mafia, has changed its image today. New industries are coming here, youth are getting employment opportunities. Today our Ambedkarnagar is no less in any sense. Ambedkar Nagar is not only a witness to the transformation journey of Ayodhya Dham but is also getting benefits. Purvanchal and Gorakhpur link expressways are also passing through here from Ambedkar Nagar. Here we are also building an industrial corridor and will also build industrial townships on the sides of both expressways. With this, the youth here will get employment opportunities in their district itself.

46 companies will become a medium for creating employment opportunities for 21 thousand youth

Chief Minister Yogi said in the program that in the biggest investor summit organized in February 2023, investment proposals worth Rs 40 lakh crore were received, which is a guarantee of employment opportunities to 1.35 crore youth of the state.

He said that in Ambedkar Nagar also, investment proposals worth Rs 6000 crore have been received through the Investor Summit, which are coming to the ground. He said that 46 companies are participating in the current program which will give employment to 21 thousand youth of the district and are committed to their placement.

He also said that all the banks have come here through which people aspiring for self-employment will be provided the opportunity of interest-free loan of various government schemes including ODOP, PM Vishwakarma for setting up medium, micro and small industries. This will increase the opportunities for employment generation.

UP became a bright spot from dark spot

Chief Minister Yogi further said that there was a time when even books were not available properly. At the same time, today our government has made arrangements for tab-smartphones for 2 crore youth. There is also a plan of PM and CM apprenticeship to make these youth technically competent. 7 years ago Uttar Pradesh was considered the dark spot of the country, a barrier to India’s development journey, the same UP is now taking the country forward by becoming a growth engine as a bright spot. UP has taken forward the vision of development by PM Modi by sitting on the driving seat. The state which was plagued by riots, anarchy, crime, has now become a dream destination, a model of law and order and a state giving maximum government jobs. When we respected the energy of the youth, UP has increased its contribution to India’s GDP and has come to the second position.

The CM said that 6-7 years ago the people of UP were looked at with suspicion, but today people look at you with respect. The

country and the world are looking at Uttar Pradesh with hope.

CM Yogi said that the Prime Minister has taken forward Mission Rozgar to give wings to the aspirations and dreams of the youth. It is the strong will of our government that we are providing facilities like free electricity connection to 1.56 crore families, health insurance to 5.11 crore families, free ration to 15 crore families. The country is now looking at Uttar Pradesh with hope. We all have to make efforts together. The government is always committed to providing security and self-reliance. Ambedkar Nagar will not lag behind in the direction of development. When I came here last time, the stadium was approved for Katehari. Now the land has also been approved. If the youth plays, he will win and if he wins, he will increase the honor of the country. Our government has given due respect to the players who won medals. Hockey player Lalit Upadhyay and athlete Parul Chaudhary have been made Deputy SP.

Advance wishes for Raksha Bandhan and Shri Krishna Janmashtami.

Chief Minister Yogi said that I wish all the residents of the district in advance for Rakshabandhan. On this occasion, all the sisters and daughters will get the facility of free travel in the buses of the Transport Corporation. At the same time, 26 and 27 is also the occasion of Janmashtami of Leeladhari Shri Krishna, who proclaimed ‘Paritranaay Sadhunaam Vinaashaya Cha Dushkritam’.

CM Yogi said that your district has now become crime free, but if any criminal is left, we will deal with him too. There is no need to worry, the government is with you.

On this occasion, State Government’s Water Power Minister Swatantra Dev Singh, Fisheries Minister Dr. Sanjay Nishad, Vocational Education Minister Kapil Dev Agarwal and State Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare (Independent Charge) Girish Chandra Yadav along with other dignitaries were present in the program.
