Srinagar, April 23: The Security agencies on Wednesday released sketches of three terrorists to be involved in the terror attack near Pahalgam in which 27 innocent people were killed, most of whom were tourists.
Officials said that these militants were named Asif Fauji, Suleman Shah and Abu Talha. The code names of the three terrorists were also Musa, Yunus and Asif and they were also involved in the terror incidents in Poonch. They said that the sketches have been prepared with the help of survivors.
The Resistance Front (TRF), a front organization of Pakistan-based banned terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba, claimed responsibility for the attack on Tuesday afternoon.
Kashmir closed in protest against Pahalgam terror attack
A complete shutdown was observed in Kashmir Valley today in protest against the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. 26 civilians were killed in this attack, most of whom were tourists.
According to the information, all shops, business establishments, schools and colleges are closed in Kashmir Valley after traders, travel agencies and transporters called for a shutdown to mourn the killing of 26 civilians.
Similarly, Lal Chowk, the commercial center of Srinagar, also remained closed, all shops remained closed and the roads remained deserted.
Meanwhile, an unusual crowd of tourists was seen at Srinagar airport, many of whom were trying to leave in a hurry.
