PCS (Pre) Exam-2024 to be held on Dec 22 in two shifts, informs commission

Prayagraj, November 15: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) Combined State / Senior Subordinate Service (Pre) Examination 2024 which was to be held on two days December 7 and 8. Now it will be held in two sessions on December 22.

Commission Under Secretary Omkar Nath Singh has told that keeping in mind the demands of the competitive students, the date of PCS Preliminary Examination 2024 has been changed and the new date has been declared as 22 December. This decision has been taken after the initiative taken by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath keeping in mind the demand of the competitive students.

Keeping in mind the request of the students protesting in Prayagraj, now this examination will be conducted in a single day. Earlier this examination was to be held in two days on 7th and 8th December, but now it will be conducted in two shifts in a single day.

After this amendment, the PCS preliminary exam will be conducted on 22 December from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm in two shifts. With this decision, the competitive students will now have to take the exam in a single day, which will solve their travel and time problems.

Keeping in mind the problems of the competitive students, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had asked the commission to take appropriate steps in this regard. After the initiative of CM Yogi, the commission has taken immediate action on the demands of the students and changed the date of the exam.
