Gorakhpur, 13 Aug: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath told women who attended his ‘Janata Darshan,’ a public grievance meeting, here on Sunday that citizens of the state who are stranded in other parts of the world will be returned.
A few women from Deoria and Kushinagar whose relatives are trapped in Thailand, Oman, and other countries requested the chief minister’s help in the issue at the Gorakhnath Temple complex meeting.
“Don’t be concerned. People from Uttar Pradesh who are stranded in other countries will be brought back,” he added, ordering authorities to call the embassies in question and make the appropriate preparations for their return.
At the Janta Darshan, Yogi Adityanth listened to the concerns and difficulties of around 200 individuals and urged police to deal with them carefully.
He also directed officials to take harsh legal action against people infringing on the rights of others and oppressing the vulnerable. “Make certain that no goons, mafia, or criminals illegally occupy land. In criminal cases, the culprit should be apprehended by filing a FIR, according to the chief minister.
To individuals requesting financial assistance for the treatment of critical illnesses, he stated that no treatment would be impeded due to a lack of funds and guaranteed them of complete assistance.
