New Delhi, Oct.03: After fall on price of crude oil in the international market, relief is being felt in business community. Oil companies reduces the price of petrol and diesel on Thursday.
Earlier, after the attack on an oil company of Saudi Arabia last month, there was a continuous rise in the price of petrol and diesel due to the strong rise in the price of crude oil. Experts said that in the coming days, the price of both vehicles fuels will decrease further.
Petrol has become cheaper by 10 paise in Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai on Thursday, 9 paise in Kolkata. At the same time, the price of diesel has been cut by six paise in Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai, while in Mumbai, seven paise per liter.
According to the website of Indian Oil, petrol prices in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai have come down to Rs 74.51, Rs 77.14, Rs 80.11 and Rs 77.40 per liter respectively. Diesel prices in the four metros have also come down to Rs 67.43, Rs 69.79, Rs 70.69 and Rs 71.24 per liter respectively.
