New Delhi, 07 October: Petrol and diesel prices have fallen for the fifth consecutive day. Oil marketing companies have also reduced petrol and diesel prices on Monday. Petrol in the capital Delhi has become cheaper by 13 paise and diesel by 12 paise per liter. At the same time, in Mumbai and Chennai, the price of diesel has been cut by 13 paise per liter. In the last five days, the price of petrol has been reduced by 85 paise, while the price of diesel has been reduced by 58 paise per liter.
According to the website of Indian Oil, the price of petrol in the capital Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai is being reduced to Rs 73.76, Rs 76.40, Rs 79.37 and Rs 76.61 per liter respectively. At the same time, the prices of diesel in four metros have also come down to Rs 66.91, Rs 69.27, Rs 70.14 and Rs 70.68 per liter respectively.
At the same time, petrol in Noida adjacent to Delhi is being sold at Rs 75.27 per liter and diesel at Rs 67.17 per liter, while in Gurugram, petrol is being sold at Rs 73.48 per liter and diesel at Rs 66.05 per liter.
Today’s Diesel price in Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) is Rs. 67.04 per Litre. Last change in Lucknow diesel price was on October 7, 2019 and it was decreased by 12 paise whereas petrol price in Lucknow is Rs. 75.15 per Litre decreased by 10 paise per liter.
