New Delhi, Sept.03 : Petrol and diesel prices have remained stable in the domestic market due to the ongoing softening of the price of crude oil in the internationally. There has been no change in the petrol rate in the capital Delhi for the last five days. At the same time, the price of diesel has also remained at the previous rate for 4 days.
According to the website of Indian Oil, on Tuesday, petrol in Delhi remained at Rs 72.01 and diesel at Rs 65.25. Earlier, on August 29, petrol was down by 6 paise per litre.
Similarly, petrol prices in Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai are at Rs 74.71, Rs 77.67 and Rs 74.81 per litre, respectively. Also, diesel is available in Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai at a price of Rs 67.63, Rs 68.41 and Rs 68.95 per liter respectively.
Market experts believe that the price of petrol and diesel may fall further in the coming days. At the same time, WTI crude remains in the international market at $ 54.92 per barrel and Brent crude at $ 58.73 per barrel.
