PM Modi arrives in Varanasi, to gift worth crore development projects to temple town

Varanasi, 17 December: Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached his parliamentary constituency Varanasi on Sunday on a two-day visit.

As soon as the Prime Minister landed at the Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in a special Air Force plane, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and other leaders present there for warm welcome.

After talking to the Chief Minister for some time at the airport, the Prime Minister left for the city.

The Prime Minister will participate in the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra organized at Chhota Cutting Memorial Ground in Nadesar by road. During this, he will communicate with the beneficiaries of central schemes for about one and a quarter hour.

According to officials, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate Kashi Tamil Sangamam 2023 at Namo Ghat at around 5.15 pm. He will flag off the special train from Kanyakumari to Varanasi from the banks of Ganga itself.

After this, he will rest for the night at Bareka Guest House. The next day, on Monday, December 18, at 10.45 am, we will go to Swaraveda Mahamandir located at Umrah by helicopter. After inaugurating the Mahamandir here, he will inspect it.

At around 1 pm, the Prime Minister will participate in the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Sewapuri Barki village. Here too he will interact and address a public meeting with the players and beneficiaries of various schemes.

In the public meeting, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate 37 projects worth about Rs 19,154 thousand crore for Kashi and Purvanchal, also will flag off Kashi-Tamil Express from Kanyakumari to Banaras and another Vande Bharat train from Banaras to New Delhi.
