Ranchi, 12 July: Prime Minister Narendra Modi became the first politician in the country to worship Baba Baidyanath with complete Vedic rituals while serving as Prime Minister.
Baba Baidyanath is the ninth of the 12 Jyotirlingas in Deoghar.
After the roadshow on Tuesday, the Prime Minister reached Baba Baidyanath Mandir. He was accompanied by Governor Ramesh Bais, Chief Minister Hemant Soren, union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, MP Nishikant Dubey, and Minister Mithilesh Thakur Baba, who were present in the temple.
The Pramukh Panda of the Deoghar temple performed Pooja with Modi. The Prime Minister offered water to the Manokamna Linga of Deoghar.
