New Delhi, July 19 (HS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the accident in Chamoli, Uttarakhand, on Wednesday.
The Prime Minister’s Office tweeted, “Extremely painful! I am deeply saddened by the accident in Chamoli, Uttarakhand.
Along with expressing my deepest condolences to the bereaved families, I wish speedy recovery to all the injured. The local administration, under the supervision of the state government, is engaged in providing all possible help to the victims.
15 people died due to electrocution in the Namami Gange project under construction on the banks of the Alaknanda river in Chamoli.
