Ayodhya, April 14: The first flight from Hisar in Haryana to Ayodhya started on Monday, which was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This new air service will not only connect the two cities but will also promote pilgrimage and tourism in Ayodhya.
The double engine government which is accelerating development with equal leadership at the Centre and the state. It has once again proved its commitment through this initiative.
Flight started from Hisar Airport
This flight reached Maharishi Valmiki International Airport in Ayodhya at 12:35 pm on Monday. On the arrival of the plane in Ayodhya, it was welcomed with a water cannon salute. After this, the passengers present at the airport were welcomed with great enthusiasm by Director Vinod Kumar. A special ceremony was organized for the passengers, which included a cake cutting ceremony. Along with this, all the passengers were presented with a rose flower as a gift. Tilak was applied on the forehead. After this, the passengers chanted Jai Shri Ram. This kind of welcome made this journey even more memorable for the passengers. Director Vinod Kumar said that this flight will operate two days a week on Friday and Sunday.
It will take one hour 45 minutes
The flight from Hisar to Ayodhya will land at 12:35 pm and after that it will take off for Hisar at 1:00 pm. This journey will take a total of one hour 45 minutes. He also informed that this is an ATR 72 seater aircraft, which has a seating capacity of 72 passengers. In the first flight, 61 passengers came to Ayodhya, while 42 passengers left for Hisar. This figure shows the initial popularity of this new service. This new air service will play an important role in connecting Ayodhya with other parts of the country. Especially, the importance of Ayodhya is constantly increasing from the point of view of religious tourism.
Travel will become easier and time will be saved
After the construction of Ram temple in the Yogi government, lakhs of devotees from the country and abroad are coming here for darshan. Starting direct flights from cities like Hisar will not only make travel easier, but will also save time. This initiative will also strengthen the local economy, as hotels, transport and other businesses will benefit from the increase in the number of tourists.
