Ahmedabad, 09 January: Prime Minister Narendra Modi received the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed at Ahmedabad Airport. People of Ahmedabad were also seen with great enthusiasm in welcoming Zayed.
The UAE President reached Ahmedabad on Tuesday evening by charter plane. Here Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed him warmly.
A road show of UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also organized from Ahmedabad Airport. During this, people gathered on both sides of the road to get a glimpse of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UAE President Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed.
Amidst tight security arrangements, the convoy of vehicles went from Tiranga Circle of Ahmedabad Airport to Indir Bridge Circle. Assam’s cultural dance Bihu was also organized at a welcome point in between. At another welcome point, a tableau of Gujarat’s traditional Bhavai costumes was seen.
The UAE President will be present along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Vibrant Gujarat Summit to be held on Wednesday.
