New Delhi, June 11: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the inaugural ‘National Training Conclave’ in New Delhi on Sunday, in the presence of over 1,500 participants from training and research organisations around the nation.

The colloquium will feature eight panel talks on major issues affecting civil service training institutes, such as faculty development, training effect evaluation, and content digitalization. The conclave was attended by around 1500 delegates from training and research organisations.

Civil employees from the central government, state governments, and municipal governments, as well as private-sector professionals, will participate in the discussions.

According to an official release, PM Modi has been advocating for reform and advancement in the governance process and policy execution through civil service capacity building, and the launch of this training conference is a step in that direction.

The Capacity Building Commission held the event to encourage collaboration among civil service training institutes and to enhance the training infrastructure for government workers across the country. PM Modi announced the National Programme for public Services Capacity Building (NPCSCB) – ‘Mission Karmayogi’ – as part of his aim to enable nation-building via greater training and preparation of its public services.
