Mathura, 23 November: Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple in Mathura on Thursday evening. During this, the Prime Minister performed formal darshan and worship in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple.
After this, he will leave for the railway grounds to participate in the Braj Raj Utsav. The Braj Raj Utsav, which started on November 14 at the Railway Ground in Mathura, will conclude on November 27.
This is the first time that a Prime Minister of the country has reached the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi temple for darshan and worship. However, this is Modi’s fourth visit to Mathura as Prime Minister. It is considered very important for the Prime Minister to visit Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Governor Anandi Ben Patel were also present with him. Strict security arrangements have been made in view of the Prime Minister’s visit.
