Ranchi, 15 November: Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Bhagwan Birsa Munda Tribal Freedom Fighters Museum located on Jail Road in the capital Ranchi on Wednesday morning.
On the birth anniversary of Dharti Aaba Lord Birsa Munda, he paid tribute to him by offering flowers on the statue of Lord Birsa Munda in the museum. After some time the Prime Minister left for Khunti from Ranchi.
The Prime Minister also visited ‘Dharti Aaba Karakaksha’ and the statues of martyrs installed in the complex.
The Prime Minister was also accompanied by Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Governor CP Radhakrishnan and Union Minister Arjun Munda. The Prime Minister also went to see the barrack where Lord Birsa Munda breathed his last in his last days.
During this, the Prime Minister paid floral tributes on the statue of Lord Birsa Munda present in the barracks and paid homage on behalf of the entire country and remembered his contribution.
The Prime Minister stayed at Bhagwan Birsa Munda Memorial Park and Museum for about half an hour. After this he left for Lord Birsa Munda’s village Ulihatu (Khunti).
